Se trata de una casa solar autosuficiente, realizada en madera. Un conjunto sostenible.
El proyecto está liderado por los estudiantes de diversos departamentos en la Universidad de Tecnología de Helsinki, la Universidad de Arte y Diseño de Helsinki y de Helsinki School of Economics.
El diseño para la Luukku House está inspirado en la larga tradición de casas de madera finlandesa con su típico toque de luz, sobre la tierra y el uso de materiales naturales.
La Madera, material que hemos elegido, es único por su carácter de sostenible, con altas posibilidades de innovación.
The prototype proposes a domestic space alternative by the addition of “pavilions” around an intermediate space, the “patio”, which receives the expansions of the rooms around it, without needing the partitioning by walls.

(e)co’s dwelling distribution is not organized in tag spaces. The house is distributed through the activities it involves, multiple not programmed spaces. The user and the objects define the space according the needs, the season or the preferences.
